Hi can any one tell me what i would need to get to make my ipod to work in the car.. iv heard i can plug something in to the cigy lighter, but do you know what is called and where I could get one?!

they sell them in argos and halfords, even sainsburys etc.
i forget what theyre called now, but im sure someone will be along in a minute to give you better info than me!
yes, youre right they plug into the cigarette lighter, you tune it and your radio into a free station and bobs your uncle, you can play your little ipod in your car through your car speakers.

it is called an FM transmitter and yes you can buy them very reasonably from aforementioned stores.
thats it dirdy, an fm transmitter!
i couldnt think for the life of me what they were called lol.
I got one on Ebay for about a fiver - its a cheap looking plastic thing but works a treat (except it doesn't work in spain/france cos the frequencies on the receiver are already used by radio stations)
