I am at my wits end trying to get support from Dell.
I am asked for my servive tag number which is on the back of my laptop but when i punch it in I am told that I did not buy it in this country.
I found a telephone number and it was not recognised.
I just do not know what to do next to get technical help from them.
I need to set up my laptop to enable me to get on the internet when I am away from home.
My ISP is BT Yahoo, my laptop is an Inspiron 10v and i am running Microsoft XP home. Please help me before iIgo completely nuts

But I am having no response to the instructions given in my Dell Inspiron set-up guide. it simply does not work.
I can use my laptop within range of my BT Broadband Home Hub, but out of range i cannot this is why I want Dell to help me with a WI FI connection

"Out of range of your BT Homehub" - I would expect it not to work, or indeed be able to work - you need to be near (a few metres, not miles) of an access point (such as a BT Homehub). Wireless access points are typically found at places like airports, hotels, McDonalds, etc.
Have you tried it when you are definitely in range of an access point?
