Hello, I'd like some info. regarding IDIOT (me) PROOF websites where I can download music onto my computer - oh - and an mp3 to play it on. Thankyouverymuch.

If you wish to download mp3 music i recommend downloading both WINMX (which is a media shareware facility) and AUDIOGALAXY,i have used both these site and downloaded no end of records. With WINMX being a shareware facility, on downloading it asks you to dedicate a folder on your computer for information to share from, you can also use this for sharing not just mp3 but other format such as jpeg,mpeg and all varieties of software. Audiogalaxy is a very good website for tailored music downloading. These are of the old napster genre and obviously it is illegal to download files that are copyrighted, which im sure you will be reminded when entering these sites, and believe me they are user friendly cus i'm a computer monkey too!

oh and i forgot to ask did you mean mp3 players for your pc or handheld like walkmans?

Cheers, I'll give it a whirl. The mp3 is just for the pc and I managed to do that bit soon after I posted the question...
