Jailbroken iPhone

I just jailbroke my iPhone to version 3.1 with Pwnage Tool and now my network carrier has disappeared.

I am using an o2 iPhone contract and I have even tried downloading Make It Mine off Cydia to change the carrier but nothing shows up there still.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

How can I uninstall a deleted program?

I have jailbroken with pwnagetool before and never had this problem before, and everything else works includibf Cydia and Installous.

I forgot to mention, it's actually an iPhone 3G
