Ad-Aware spots this as spyware, but deleting it means my A to Z stopps working. So, I put it back from the disc and then told Ad-Aware to ignore it in future. I expect that you can do the same with other things.
I think the occasional good clear-out can make the poota work so much better. And you can certainly do better without all that scummy spyware stuff.
I've been using Adaware SE since it was released and have had no problems so far with anything it's deleted. As you say, if it stops anything running properly just take it back out of quarantine. Some people like to keep their Recently Used Lists, so that feature can be switched off.
I would recommend downloading SpyBot Search and Destroy as well. It identifies some problems that Adaware SE misses. I run both and have had no conflicts at all.
