How to go wireless
6 Answers
I have a wireless router that I use via an ethernet connection (I'm not really using it as a wireless router!) I've got a laptop that I want to use with a wireless connection.
I know the user/password for the router and have a disk that came with the router. What do I need to do to 'make the connection'? - I havent tried yet but know this will be a task I'm doing on Christmas Day so a heads up is much appreciated!

What you do need is the wireless network key.
as long as you know this then all you do is search for a wireless network and then double click on your network when it finds it and enter the network key when requested and you'll be connected.

• Connect your PC to the router using an Ethernet cable.
• Open a web browser and enter the address http://192.168.1.1
• The default username is ‘admin’. The default password is also ‘admin’.
^ from the manual
I don't know that router, that should get you into the admin pages, have a look round for wireless security settings and you will find the key
While you are there you can change the SSID to what ever you want and WPA is more secure than WEP but either will keep the chancers off
