42in Lcd Television

I have decieded to bite the bullet and buy a 42in lcd tv, this Friday, (being an impatient person) would I be able to get one in the back of my picasso? or would i have to wait and have it delivered!!!!!!!!
dont want to look a div outside rumbelows trying to get a tv in my car!!!!

Make sure you buy one with 1080 lines.

Some HD Ready TVs are only 760 or so lines and not really full HD.

To be able to get full HD you need 1080 lines (and 1080p rather than 1080i if possible)

Measure the back of the Car first before you decide, mind you if it is Free Delivery let the shop deliver it for you. If you damage it what comebacks have you got.

Thought Rumbelows had gone out of business years ago. If you know the make and model of tv you are thinking of getting go on to manufacturers web site and check details, some put size of package as well as actual size of tv.

As VHG says, make sure it is 1080p.

Boxes for Flat Screens are huge! Ring the store and ask for the dimensions of the box!

If you do choose to take it with please DO NOT lay it down flat in your car.Keep it upright at all times, and that goes for the two peole carrying it.

If you do as I suggest you probably wouldnt get it in the car anyway, and besides youve just spent a few hundred pounds on your new tv ...just spend a bit more and have the experts deliver it for you...if they damage it you have recourse

P.S. My 43" Pioneer Plasma (main) box would NOT go in the back of a Picasso, that's for sure. It fitted in a Primastar, tho!

Just a bit of advice I have acquired from other people.If you do decide to take it your brave self,check the tv before popping(ha ha)in your car.Apparently if its broke and you take it there are insurance claim issues -ie whos fault was it blah blah blah.
p.s If its a Toshiba Regza dont be too disappointed at the quality of the remote.
