I have a newish HP Pavilion T550 PC & currently use Windows Media Player to watch DVD's on. What other programmes do other AB users use, to get the best results. I expect they are much of a muchness, but just wondered. Thanks.

Personally I use Power DVD Pro as it gives me options to size the frame and other features
There are about 3 other media players that all play DVD's that I use including Real Player (crap!) Media Player Classic (quite good and free!) and WinDVDplatinum (very good!)

These are just my personal favourites, there will be others out there with there own!

Another Power DVD user (the FOSI site used to have it).

Thank you Jo & j2 - I used to use Power DVD on my old PC, so I think I may start using it again.
Fosi has replaced Power DVD with Ulead DVD Player buttons which is still better than Bill`s offering.
Thanks dodge, I'll have to look the old boy up.

I use Media Player Classic as it plays nearly every format you can think of. It saves having Real, WM Player, Quicktime etc etc.  It also prevents Real from spying on you.  It is free of charge from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm.  Download the full pack (approx 18.mb) and you will never need any other media player.

Well thank you Gandy - I shall give that a try too.
