Is there a programme I can download, that would convert MPEG2 files into a format that I can copy onto DVD?

Thanks

i use Studio 8 software to save onto DVD.  You can't download it but can buy it from Amazon

I'm sure there are free progs, but you can d/l http://www.winavi.com/video-converter.htm . I've used it to convert to VCD, and it converts all sorts of formats to other sorts. The trial version sticks a "watermark" across the screen, but at least you can see if it works for you. The key costs $29.95 and removes the watermark.
I used to use an excellent program called Cucusoft, which only costs about 10, but I never use it now because Nero seems to convert files automatically, which I then burn to DVD.
