I'm not optimistic about this one.

I've been given a disc of pictures, copied from a Mac.

My lappy can't read them.

Is there any software that will enable my lappy to read the disc?

Morning Jayne,

Your laptop should be able to read the actual CD so you can see the files on it?

if so, firstly try this
http://download.cnet....-2192_4-10021962.html

if that doesn't work, do the files have an extension on the file name? it's the part after the full stop on the name, so it would be something like filename.pict, if they do then if you say what the last part of the name is that will say what can be used to open them.

if there is no file extension on the name they are files created on a old mac which shouldn't cause a problem but they won't open automatically., you would have to load the picture viewer and then open the files manually using file > open.

(I think that made sense, it's early and I need coffee :))
