Model ST585. Does a secondhand one need a CD to down load it, or just the plug, cables etc?

It's a router, not a modem and you don't need drivers for routers.

Sorry, that did sound a little abrupt of me, I was answering in between doing other things.

If it had of needed a driver they could have been downloaded from the net anyhow.
