Please could anyone recommend a good all-in-one photo printer?

Could some of you Technical guys please recommend to me, a cheapish all in one photo printer?
I am not all that bothered about wireless printing, I am operating on XP home edition, and I wish occasionally to print on card, ie greeting cards etc.
The one I have selected so far is the HP Photosmart 7960, which seemed to be just what I wanted until I read a report that said, "because of the sharp u-turn on HP printers before starting to print, it is not advisable to print on over-thick paper."

(200 gsm.)) from Stationery Box, this being suitable for business cards and similar. Maybe you could check this out on the suppliers web site???
Another point to bear in mind before you buy is the cost of the replacement cartridges as some (like LEXMARK) are very expensive. I refill my own so the cost doesn't bother me at all.
