Scanners side by side.
5 Answers
I have purchased an all-in-one printer.
Will I still be able to run my independent flat-bed scanner, side by side the scanner on the all-in-one?
The reason I ask this is because the flat-bed has facilities to scan slides and negatives, whereas the all-in-one hasn't.

Further, assuming that both devices use 'TWAIN' drivers, you should find that the software which came with one device should accept data from the other. So if your flat bed scanner came with a good photo-manipulation program, which you like using, you can still use that to import images from your new device. (You don't have to use the software which came with the new scanner. You can simply use the 'select source' menu with the old software).
