Lost My Pics?

I decided to put my pics, from my mobile, onto pc and delete from my mobile, which I did I was looking at them on pc. deleted them from phone. Went back, to look at them, on PC again, I hadn't saved them! :-( Any hope please?????

if the pictures were on a memory card it would be possible to remove the memory card and insert it into a card reader and run one of several deleted file recovery utilities.

Unless your image viewing program was accessing the pictures directly from your phone they must be somewhere on your PC!

Go to Start>Search and run a search for all types of file. Enter your search criteria as *.jpg That will find every jpeg image anywhere on your PC. If you've not saved your pictures with any particular names (such as 'house.jpg') they'll only appear with the file names allocated by your phone (e.g. 'nk0003456.jpg'). It might help you to identify the correct files if you click on View>Details and then 'Date modified' until you've got the most recent files at the top of the list.

I don't think you'll need to download anything at this stage. I'd follow Buenchico's advice first as I think it's likely they are on your PC somewhere
