If you click on My profile on Answerbank and then click Edit User details is there a box asking whether avatar is activated. If so make sure it is ticked. If it's not, click on the box to activate it.
If the box isn't visible click next to the letters YO on YOUR

If not press Control &F5 simultaneously a few times. Or if on Internet Explorer clear your cache (I'll talk you through that if necessary)
