Stopping Skype signing in when I log on to my Apple imac

Can anyone please help. Everytime I turn my computer on in the morning, Skype automatically signs in even though I have signed out the night before. Cannot find anywhere on my system where I can stop this happening until I am ready to use it.

Open System Preferences, then Accounts, highlight the account on which Skype starts, then click Login Items at the top of the window. If Skype appears as a login item, highlight it and click the - sign at the bottom. This will remove it as a start up item
