Not being into all this computer malarkey, if I have a blank DVD disc of 4.7 GB just how many MB is that.
I am asking this because when I want to save something on a DVD it always asks me ''how many MB"
is the blank disc.

For Simple maths.... 1 GB = 1000MB
For Proper answer 1GB = 1024MB

Even easier.... just put into google 4.7GB in MB

If you are going to use google for conversions then keep in mind the capital letters are important.

1GB is 1 giga*byte*
1Gb is 1 giga*bit*

There are 8 bits in each byte so a simple mistake of using a lower case b and not a upper case B can put your answers out by a factor of 8.
