It's like taking a photo of exactly what's on your screen.  To see what I mean, press screen dump.  Open a blank word document and then press CTRL and V together.

So does Screen Dump basically mean Print Screen?

There isn't a button which says screen dump on my keyboard.

There'll be a  button with "Print screen" on it. Generally it is synonimous with "screen dump". As Gandy says when you press the print screen button a copy of your current screen is added to the clipboard. By openning word or paint for example you can paste it into the document and then actually print it if you want. CTRL-V means "paste".

Alt and Print Screen performs a screen dump in windows.  You can then paste this into an application.
I can't see a screen dump key. I see ctrl, pigup, anykey. Where's the screen dump key?
