mexican crisis

i need to make a report about the mexican crisis in 1994 but i need help to find a simplified explanation for it which can be easily understood, or if someone knows about it can explain it for me

While I was in uni, different groups within the class had to do different presentations, and one was on this topic. If I remember correctly, the major cause for the crisis was the over-devaluation of the peso (a small devaluation was needed to counter the high inflation). Another thing was the veiws of different parties regarding long-term visions for the economy, and their willingness to invest. Thats all I remember.
