P2P Programs

P2p programs dont operate on my machine! winMX appears breafly appears in the task bar for about 1/2 second then dissapears! Ares Just says, Ares has encountered a problem and needs to close. Please Help! i REALLY need these programs! thanks alot. from matt.

Any errors in the event log?  (Start, Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer).  There may be something in the application log.

I had the same problem using Ares and a few other programs, I am now using Limewire and i've had no problems.  You can get freeware just select link:

Delete the application - Start-Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs.

Clean your Registry if you have a Registry cleaner and redownload/re-install the application.
