I suppose you could skype it ... and use a laptop with output to large screen. problem would be video quality. OK for up to 43" screen th, I suppose.
Failing that it would be a SISLink live satellite uplink from a truck and digital broadcast .. rather expensive I think!

hmm,as i have no idea about this kind of stuff do you think the laptop thing would be inexpensive and fairly easy?one of our friends shows projection films in marquees, schools etc, could you link it to show on that?do you know anywher i could find any info on this?i've tried googling but i dont really know what im looking for!tanks
My niece films stuff on her video camera then we view it later via the TV, so I can't see why something similar can't be done for you on a screen in the marquee. I have no idea how she does it though.
I can't work out if you are asking about having the video shown in the marquee live, i.e. at the same time as the actual wedding is going on. which is possible, but is going to be either tricky and/or expensive to do well.

Or do you want to film the wedding and then show the film later on in the marquee, which is very easy to do.
I think it's the first chuck. Also check with the venue if there any licence restrictions on them showing a video like this. Having been hounded by the music licence people at work (which covers TV and video performances) I wouldn't be at all surprised if they have their greedy fingers in this type of thing too.
If you are rich try your local TV outside broadcast dept!

ha,we are definitely not rich!!we just wanted everyone at the wedding really and as the license was only for the few to the ceremony,we didnt want to have to leave all our other family and close friends out,so i just thought this would make everyone feel they were all special, just don't like the idea of choosing day and evening guests, and as we are on a budget this was the only way we have had to do it,and getting married at 3,i just thought lets have everyone here,i suppose they could just have drinks in the marquee till the ceremony was over and then we just join them in the marquee/i dont know its not till next year just getting some ideas together, maybe some silly ideas like this one!!!haha!
How far apart are the two venues?
Good idea to start planning early - we started about 18 months before our wedding, to give ourselves plenty of time to sort out all the details.

well there will be a big window facing us and a croquet lawn outside it where the marquee will be,about 30 metres?
Well my first answer was correct .. basically the two choices ... However, if only 30M distance, a very good DV Cam on a tripod, with an S lead, also high quality phono leads should work ok. The DV Cam mic input could be connected to a decent mic.
Question Author
and would this then just plug into a tv or screen?
