i bought my mobile resistant husband A Binatone speakeasy phone and persuaded him to regularly have it to hand although its unlikely he will use it much.

Incoming calls only have about three rings and by the time he's found it it has gone to voicemail which he is not familiar with. Family members get over this by redialling by which time he may have answered. It is on a sim with Vodafone pay as you go but we cannot work out how to change settings to get it to ring for longer or to set up voicemail. Binatone referred me to Vodafone but I do not seem to be able to find the relevant information. any help much appreciated or he will give up like he did when he had one before! thanks very much

you could always turn the voicemail facility off - just ring the number you normally would to access voicemails and go intot he menu. Then people could ring him for however long it takes for him to answer. It sounds like a voicemail facility isn't all that much use to him anyway
