albums on ipod

just been given an ipod, just wondered what is the best way to transfer a music album from computer to device. is it to drag the named album folder to the ipod or track by track unless there is a better way

if you put a CD into your computer it should ask you if you want to copy the tracks to your iPod (you can untick any you don't want to copy).
