right i need help please?
i have a couple of films recorded and saved on my sky+ box, i would like to burn them onto a disc via my pc which is about 20 feet away how would i go about it,thats if its even possible,nice and easy answers please im not that technical any help would be great thx all in advance!

It's technically possible to do, but you will almost certainly not have to correct equipment in your computer to enable you to do it. (you'd need an analogue TV card at the very least, preferably some sort of video input card for best results)

If you have a DVD recorder you can transfer from Sky to DVD or to the recorders hard drive.
The SKY HD manual gives step by step directions and two connecting diagrams ( 1 for HDMI and 1 for scart connectivity). It can only be done in real time there is no high speed dubbing available, so a three hour film will take three hours to transfer, and you can't watch anything else. I usually set it up last thing at night and let it run overnight.
