whatever the comments, I'd wait quite a while before 'upgrading': these things always have bugs, big or small, in them, and you're better off letting someone else sort them out. In fact I'm still on Windows XP: there are newer versions, but XP works fine, so why change?
Changing browsers is not drastic. You can download and use as many different ones as you like.
No reason not to try it, if you don't like it, don't use it.
