I live in Swansea and have recently lost several Freeview channels such as ITV 4 and Film 4; is there any reason for this? I have retuned my TV and Freeview box as suggested without any success. HELP please!!!!!

BBC1 and 2 sometimes used to "drop" from my freeview channel list. Usually back within a couple of days. Not happened for a while though. Try again in a few days time.
Perhaps the result of a multiplex technical trial?

Some months back in Bristol they coincided the removal of analogue with a change in the frequencies used for Freeview. Lost a number of channels, notable the low number ones. I think some TVs/Boxes can't have the frequency range of others, or something, because I could never get them back. Ended up scrapping a perfectly reasonable TV because of all this messing about.

Hope your problem isn't the same.
I suspect that osprey's digital switchover was a year ago.
Since Yorkshire started preparing for the switchover I often find channels unavailable, or the reception so bad they're unwatchable.
