After spilling coffee on my beloved sony ericsson w995, the insurance say they can't get that phone anymorea dn so I need to choose another.
I'm really not very savvy with things like this, and only know I want a good camera (I think the sony was 8mp)
Does anyone know of a phone with similar spec?

i'm not really keen on touchscreen, my hubby and son have them.
My phone was really a camera that you could use as a phone!
I think the loss adjuster is ringing me today and so i just wanted an idea of how much i should accept!
The Nokia N900 has a really nice 5MP camera (and a really nice lens - for a phone anyway)

Do you need it to be anything other than the camera? I.e. emails, internet etc? Have a peruse on http://www.htc.com/uk/ if so - they do nice smartphones.

If not, try Sony Ericsson again - but avoid the Vivaz like the plague! I've known a few people who have found the touchscreen dead to the world after a few weeks!

All the best

thansk guys - i'm not too bothered about email but web browsing is handy. I thought the higher the pixels the better the camera, but have just read that's not always the case!
I really don't know if i could get used to a touch screen. My husband's drives me mad, and i can't even turn my son's Tmobile pulse, on!

i've never heard of htc - have they been around long? I had a quick look and they certainly look very nice.
