hi dooly.. I thought free view was viewed through a normal ariel and free sat was viewed through a dish.. maybe you should have bought a tv with free sat..I think there is a slight time delay between free sat and free view.
OK, I'm confused. Are you watching Sky or Freeview? If it's Sky you shouldn't be tuning the TV at all. (Simply press the relevant button for selecting the source and choose, 'AV1', 'AV2' or which input your Sky box is connected to). If it's Freeview I 'm still confused because a channel should either be tuned in or not. I can't see how you can get a hazy picture.

More information please!

Chris
I'm reading this as dooly has the sky box connected to the TV using a RF cable?

I may be wrong, but if I'm correct then the answer is to use a HDMI lead.

Agree with Chris, more info needed.

regarding the tuning on my lg tv. the problem is that i maybe have not explained the problem properly.the tel. is about 11 months and it is digital with freeview.however the picture was very good for months but lately it has gone hazy.i can retune the set using the auto tuning and the picture is perfect, however on switching off the set and switching back on the hazy picture comes back therefore if i want a clear picture again i must retune again.it is connected to a sky digi box. thanks
Thanks for the reply.

At the moment I'm struggling to work out what the cause of the problem might be. If it doesn't occur to me soon (or to Chuck - or someone else), here's where to ask your question again:

Surely it`s still under warranty, take it back.
it would appear to me that when you are tuning the tv for freeview channels, after the re-tune the channels are not locking in, is there a save button anywhere ? if not I think the tv has developed a fault & as carlton23 says, take it back.

Hi, its about tuning my tv after reading the advice given i went through the menu on the set again and again and chose options then mode setting and then home use mode the picture has appeared to be locked at that setting. As i have had the tv from new and it was perfect for approx 10 months it is strange how it would require this adjustment. Thanks everbody as the picture is now staying at that setting.
