How do I slow down my cursor / mouse?
This problem most arises when I am doing word processing and want to copy & paste sections of text. Of course, I click on the start of the text that I wish to high-light and drag down to the end of the text that I wish to high-light.
There is no problem when all of the text is visible on the screen. But, when some of the text extends beyond the screen, my problem is that the rate at which the high-lighted area scrolls down is too fast to control. Within a fraction of a second, the whole of the rest of the document is high-lighted to the end.
How do I slow down the rate at which the mouse scrolls down the high-lighted area beyond the bottom of the screen?

If that does not work then try the same thing but instead of selecting pointer options select wheel and make sure one screen at a time is not selected and the number of lines at a time is not too high (mine is set at 3)
