1/ Download XPLite from http://www.litepc.com/xplite.html
2/ Start -> Run -> Type: notepad.exe C:\windows\inf\sysoc.inf -> Do a search and replace for ,hide and replace it with , (a comma). Save the file and close it. All hidden Windows components will now show up in Add/Remove Programs.
3/ Download nLite from http://nuhi.msfn.org/ and create an XP installation disc without Windows Media Player on it at all.
RealPlyare = baggage? Not so. The version of RealPlayer downloaded from this address http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/audiohelp_install.shtml is actually adware-free. RealPlayer has a bad reputation because of past versions but even the current adware version is now very good. But as I say, the version of RealPlayer downloaded from above is adware-free (due to the BBC's policy of not running adverts you see).
