Hi

Just got my garmin a couple of months ago and uploaded the maps correctly, however im having trouble trying to get it to re-calculate a route. If I want to drive somewhere and I would like to take a certain road (as looking on the OS map the route I want to drive is more direct and an easier road to drive) more often then not it will advise only two types of route shorter distance and faster time, when i go into 'navigation'. But I want to go a particular way, how do I get it to recalulate a map that im happy with, before i set off? Im sure there is a way of doing it!

Any help would be fab.

I have not got a Garmin, so cannot help you specifically. But, can you add 'waypoints' to your route? If so add a couple in on the route you want to go and your satnav should be able to re-work the route.

"If I go anywhere I ignore it, it eventually cottons on and re calculates. XXX "
