Problems with thunderbird3
3 Answers
I have a problem with email and I am wondering if it is due to upgrade to Tbd3. We have a long term email address which stopped working and I have tried and tried to reset. ISP insist it is working OK and must be thunderbird fault. Incoming mail reaches ISP webmail box or can be forwarded to another address but thats all. I now note others have same problem since upgrade. Please can someone help me to resolve issue Would you advise reverting to earlier version TB and if so how
Whilst trying to reset outgoing server it has created a list of incorrect files - how can I remove these please
Thanks for any help

Check your smtp server settings in Tools -> Account Settings -> Outgoing Server, and edit the smtp server with the issue. If use 'secure authentication' is checked, uncheck it and try again.
