Might sound a silly question, but I have had my phone for 2 years, and have no idea what model it is, I wan to sell it, and there seems to be around 10 variants.

When I plug it into I tunes it says I have 14gb yet the only models close to that are 15gb and 8, yet the itunes has a break down of what is being used, and it still comes to 14 Im getting very confused, please help wise wizards of answerbank.

It's a 16GB

1st gen had a flat aluminium back.

2nd gen had rounded back and the text on the rear was plain gray

3rd gen looked identical to the 2nd gen except the writing on the back was shiny

4th gen hasn't been out two years so it's not one of those.

Do you still have a manual for it? It should say on there.
