Hi,
I have an HP Officejet 7210 All-in-one and it has stopped working! When I turn it on this is the message that appears on the screen : Scanner Failure. Turn power off and then on again. I have turned the printer off, disconnected the power cable from the back and pulled the plug out from the socket, but when I switch it back on the same message still appears! I have turned it off and on maybe a dozen times ( leaving it off for a few minutes each time, but to no avail! Has anybody got any ideas ? Maybe I need to have it serviced?
Many Thanks
Zubar.

Sounds kaput to me : (
Two things to try.

Unplug the power lead, then hold the "3" and "#" buttons down on the control panel as you plug the power lead back in. You might need another pair of hands to help you.

If this does not work, same process above except hold down "6" and "#".
