how to fill in a pdf form

Hi
I have a form i need to fill in which is a pdf. How do i fill it in? I open it in Acrobat, but just the hand shows when i move the mouse around, i cant seems to get a cursor to write anything.
Any help would b great

Unless you have a pdf converter and can change it into Word, you can't. That's the point of .pdf, the recipient can't change it. You have to print it off and send it hard copy, or alternatively ask the sender if they can resend it to you in another format so you can type into it and email it back to them.
If no joy with Foxit, try this one: http://www.tracker-so...ct/pdf-xchange-viewer (just get the free version).
You can add in text boxes in the appropriate place. Not ideal, but it gets the job done. Not tried it, but I THINK you can do something similar in Open Office if you install an extra extension.
