Tried donwloading this but it tells me that I am missing components necessary for it to run. I am currently on Windows Vista 32bit, service pack 1 and I followed the links provided but its not obvious what I need to download. 2 available downloads show that total approx 600meg each.

Does this sound right?

Seems a lot of hassle to go to just to run a new browser!

I believe IE9 requires Vista SP2. 600Mb sounds right for that...

Thanks Mark.
The problem is that 2 available downloads show each at 600meg and it is not clear which needs to be downloaded or maybe both.
May be I'll bite the bullet and fetch one down!
If you're on the IE9 download page, the two downloads are probably the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of SP2 - they will be approximately the same size.

Why not just let Windows Update do everything for you...?
