things not to miss in jersey

We are going to Jersey middle of August 2011 and are only there for a few days. Can anyone tell me what is not to miss.

The Island and go straight on for Guernsey

no, Mount Orgeuil in Gorey and there's a super restaurant underneath it, the Moorings....

I doubt you can miss anything- it's only a small island

the shopping is not as good as it used to be - still cheaper though re no VAT....

Seriously, a lot of it designed to separate tourists from money. What sort of things interest you?
They do still tend to go on about the war and there are a lot of relics to see.
I would visit the Maritime Museum in St Helier and go across to Elizabeth Castle. Also 'The Glass Church' (st Matthews) and the underground bunkers. For the rest just see what takes your fancy.
