Can anyone suggest a good hotel or b and b which has parking and within walking distance of the city centre in York

I stayed at a very nice guest house last july private parking a short walk fom the city center at the moment I cant remember the name if possible can you send me your email and i will continue to look for it for you and let you know the name of it

There is a Novotel near the centre,a Travel Lodge close by and loads of b&bs within walking distance ,how about ringing the tourist information in York
