Golf weekend recommendations.

I'm looking to send my boyfriend on a golf weekend for his birthday with his mate. Ideally I'd like it to be abroad, but it can really only be from a Friday eve to a Sunday eve, therefore I'm thinking Spain or Portugal. But thats as far as my knowledge goes. They are both still learning at golf but are doing ok. And ideally it needs to be somewhere where they can have a few beers of an evening too. Has anyone got any recommendations? I'll post this under sport and travel. Thanks.

Yeah there are two courses. Only thing is I'm from Ireland and I can tell you there would be a 90%+ chance of shiite weather.

In my experience some of the best courses are difficult for beginners and so not very enjoyable.

Hi, Mallorca has a few golf courses and they won't be short of a few places to go for a drink afterwards. Santa Ponsa has a couple of courses and is not far from the resorts of Santa ponsa and Magaluf. I think that they also have a begginers course there as well.
