aimed at US tourists, with prices broadly similar to what you'd pay at home. A sort of desert island, with a lot of sand and scrub inland, and nice beaches with resort hotels along them. Like the other Dutch Caribbean islands it's reasonably prosperous, with more stone buildings and fewer shacks than elsewhere in the Caribbean.
It was one of the Caribbean Islands we visited 5 years ago, from what I can remember the people are very friendly, prices so so what you would expect for a tourist place, at the port / dock there is a Helicopter trip around the Island if you get the chance, go for it, it's well worth the money.
