new orleans - injections?

do i need any injections to go to new orleans in sept? as its a subtropical climate. i guess mosquito repellent would be a good idea. anyone else got any hints or tips for me?

Make sure your Tetanus is up to date, other than that you should be OK

Instead of insect repellant take Avon Skin So Soft, dry oil body spray, soft and fresh fragrance. It smells nice, keeps your skin soft, and keep the mozzies away.

I've been all over, from Mexico to Hong Kong and all at short notice. Not even enough notice to get a change of clothes, let alone any jabs. And you know where the nastiest bite I got was? Warrington, Cheshire. A horsefly whilst picking blackberries.

Couldn't resist the temptation in Mexico to go looking for scorpions and massive spiders in the desert, I wasn't disappointed.
