i´ve just checked my flight booking for the 25th november..
and my name has been misprinted. its an ongoing problem i´ve had for ages with this pc. the words if not checked are mis spelt!! eg i might have wanted to put my name down as mr smith, but mr ithsm was put down instead.
when i went to the ryanair page, and looked at changing the name they wanted to charge me 110 quid!!
is there a simple solution?

The simple solution Piggynose is - don't fly with Ryanair!
My keyboard often sticks and does funny things too. I have to check everthing before I print or post and even then some spelling or text appears incorrectly. I can only suggest that you check all your text very carefully before committing yourself to anything - but I'm sure you know that anyway.
Good luck with the name change. I hope it doesn't cost £110.

jno, i agree, but i´ve had this problem with my laptop for 6 months now, and nobody can fix it!! you´d think i was lying, why? when i´ve took it to be repaired, the word syntax problem wont happen when in the shop!! so i´ve paid good money twice and still the problem hasn´t gone away.
i´ve tried the ab technies, without any success!! : (

boo, this pc problem doesnt always occur, it was one of those days where i was trying to find the best deal inc dates etc, but had the noise of the bar and my girlfriend to deal with, hence i didnt double check as i usually do. plus after 2 hours on the net, i lost my patience. yes i was lucky this time.
lol yeah, got what you were saying. It's all a bit moot now seeing as they've waived the cost, but if they argued their case, you could have hardly complained. For something so important, it's essential you check and double check that everything's correct before it's submitted, regardless of what's going on around you in the background, especially if you know you've a dodgy 'puter.
