Northern Rail - still on steam?
I'm travelling up to Whitehaven in Cumbria on Monday. Looking at the ticket it takes 3 hours from London to Lancaster then another 3 hours from Lancaster to Whitehaven.
I'm not sure of the distance between Lancaster & Whitehaven but it seems a hell of a long journey. Why such a slow run?
