Has anyone used this? Was it fast? Was it worth it?

I used 'fast track' check-in once at another airport and it was a complete waste of time and money. There was a hold up in our 'fast track' queue and as a result we waited far longer than those in the normal queues which had several check-in desks open and so customers were being checked in almost as soon as they arrived.
I am sure there are times though where it would be worth it

I haven't. The queues can be quite long, but it would depend what time you were travelling; some periods are quiter than others (have a look at Stansted flight schedules if it helps).

It would also depend on how many people are being fast-tracked.

I wouldn't bother myslf unless I thought time was going to be very tight.
