i have convictions for theft by deception and common assult for which i recieved a community work order.will this make it difficult to enter the usa?

if you have any convictions, have been arrested and not charged or have driving offences against you, you must have a visa to enter the usa. Unfortunately i dont think there is any guarantee of entry into the states anyway, they are very strict upon entry to their country. information on this is listed on the american embassy website. I know people in your position who have been and have not experienced any problems but you are supposed to have a visa. good luck
