Does anyone have any suggestions of any good places to travel in October to get a bit of sunshine, preferably not a long haul flight, something economical.
Thanks.

Try Kos via 'on the beach' found it very reasonable.....
I've been to Turkey and Greece in October. Temperatures are great but not too hot to do thiings as it can be at peak season. And it's a bit cheaper and quieter as it's near end of season.
Asian countries like Thailand or India are great. You can try Malta or Egypt too.

Just got back from Morocco, temperature was 41deg hot and sunny all the time. Just the odd shower as we were leaving. Only 3 hours, not expensive, just prepare to be hassled when shopping.
Still very warm here in Ibiza (Balearic islands)
Tenerife in the Canaries - open all year, something for every budget - 4 hours flying from London.
You can choose best places. There are some best places for holidays.
Manila
Honk KOng
