How can I book a flight to Los Angeles with a three day stop over in New York
All the flights are just round trips or am i being completely silly. Any help appreciated.

You need to book 3 flights. One to JFK new York. One JFK to LAX. One lax

BA have a multicity/stopover option

Try that, if that doesn't work, what about just booking flights separately, you'll have a lot more choice.

You would be better booking a multicity trip than one ways - it will very likely be cheaper

Or at worse an 'open jaw' out to NY, back from LA

Most sites have provision for this - Expedia already mentioned has the option of one way return or multiple destinations

I think you should prefer connecting flights for visiting Los Angeles.
