i want to go to santander in northern spain but am finding the ferry prices from plymouth absurdly high, anyone know how to get a good deal?

There is no cheap way of doing this unless you want to just spend a few hours there and go on the "cruise".  We live in Spain and use this ferry to come back to the UK but we bought shares in P & O and do get a 40 per cent discount but don't travel in Summer.

If you go on the Le Havre ferries you can drive down to Santander in just over 12 hours and the roads are very good. We have a tried and tested route if you want it. Just ask.
