Anyone Here Know Northern Spain & Northern Portugal Well?
We are hiring a motorhome or camper van end Aug/begnning Sept and hope to tour the above. To take in Santiago de Compostella (Spain) & Porto.
We plan to fly to Gijon, then take the van from there. For around 10 days.
Any tips on campsites etc? Any advice whatsoever to newbie campers? We have extensive experience of sailing, ports & marinas, but none of motorhomes.

You could drive to Muxia, reputed in olden times to be the end of the world. Finisterre also claims the same distinction. Great seafood, too. You could try the pulpo ala Gallega, Octopus.
