If they're liquid I'd definitely put them in a clear bag.

the prescription meds are solid tablets but the vitamins are liquid capsules
Keep them in your hand luggage just in case hold baggage gets lost
I'd put them in a clear plastic bag in your hand luggage fruitsalad...I take a domestic flight most months and they seem to change the rules from month to month !
Put the prescription stuff in hand luggage so it doesn't get lost and the vitamins in hold baggage - everyone can live without vitamin tablets.
Our medication tablets all go in our hand luggage.
No fear of them getting lost if suitcases go missing.
We put our in a clear plastic bag.
Agree with the others. We keep our prescription medication with us - but in a clear bag AND in the original packaging with the script label on it - and vitamins go in the suitcase in the hold.
